Homeschooling Off The Grid
Homeschooling off the grid can be challenging, especially if you live in a remote area as we do.
Over the years, we've adapted to using a literature-based Christian curriculum. In addition, I use select materials from Northwoods Press to add Canadian content.
For homesteading topics in our off grid homeschool, we love online classes through Outschool.
And I also created numerous unit studies for our children. Topics include foraging, northern wilderness, gardening, woodland animals, deer through the seasons, chickens, farmyard animals, hibernation, life cycles of plants and animals, and many more!
