Are you itching to learn a new homesteading skill? If so, online homesteading courses and ebooks are a great way to take the first step in learning to be more self-reliant.

We created this big list of online homesteading, off grid living, gardening and self-reliance courses four years ago. It started with 50 resources, and has grown each year. These resources include ebooks, workbooks, video courses, tutorials, and online memberships.

We try to update this list twice a year.

Even if you're an absolute beginner, taking online homesteading courses or downloading an eBook or other digital resources lets you start learning what you don't know about off grid living, homesteading, gardening, foraging, and how to secure your food supply.

Educating yourself before moving off the grid can also help you avoid off grid living mistakes and off grid homesteading blunders.

Maybe you're reading this on your smartphone on a crowded subway. Or maybe you're trying your hand at homesteading in your apartment.

Maybe you dream of building a cabin in the woods and having some chickens, turkeys, rabbits, and pigs. Or maybe you want to prepare to live off grid in northern Canada or Alaska.

Or it could be that you want to learn how to make really good homemade bread to share with your family and friends.

And after the craziness of the past two years, we're finding more and more people want to know about stocking prepper pantries.

The good news is that as long as you have access to the internet, there are tons of homesteading online courses to help you learn.

*Get this downloadable list (now 95 online resources) and keep it for a handy reference. It's in our free off grid living resource library. Sign up for my newsletter and get instant access.
