This is a simple project that anyone can do. It's perfect if you're looking for farmhouse decorating budget ideas. And it's a great way to get in the mood for spring.

Where to get a grapevine wreath
First, you'll need a grapevine wreath. You can either make one yourself or buy a pre-made wreath.
Grapevine wreaths are inexpensive and easy to find. Check your local dollar store, craft store (Michael's, Joann's, Hobby Lobby, Amazon) or even your favorite hardware store.
Over the years, I've seen them advertised in Lehman's, Home Depot, Home Hardware, and even Lowe's.
How to make a grapevine wreath

How to make a farmhouse wreath for spring
All in all, it's pretty simple to make a wreath for spring with grapevine and cotton balls. This simple wreath really stands out against wood paneling, a white wall, or even as part of your log cabin decor.

Supplies
Here are the supplies you'll need to make this farmhouse wreath for spring.
- wispy grapevine wreath
- bag of cotton balls OR cotton pads
- grapevine pearl vine - Dollar Tree or your favorite craft store
- twist ties
- wire cutters
Instructions
Start with your grapevine wreath.
Step 1
Take the pearl vine and bend it into a circle the same size as your wreath. I had enough pearl vine to go around the circle three times.
Step 2
Cut the pearl vine with the wire cutters. Then, carefully weave it in between the grapevine sticks on the wreath to secure it in place. Optional: use a few dabs of glue from your glue gun to hold the pearl vine in place.
Step 3
Using either three cotton balls or two cotton pads, use a twist tie to secure them in bunches around the wreath.
(Note: first, I twisted the tie around the cotton ball. Then, it was easy to tuck the ends into the grapevine wreath.)
Step 4
Secure the cotton balls to go around the farmhouse wreath. Then tie them around a few of the grapevine sticks to secure it. Add a dab of glue if needed.
And that's it! You now have a beautiful farmhouse wreath for spring. Hang it on your front door or anywhere else in your home that could use some springtime cheer.
Decorating your home for spring doesn't need to be complicated or expensive. Take a look around your home and outdoors for natural materials. Branches, flowers, leaves, twigs, and vines are great ways to start.
