We're learning more about generators for living off the grid every day! Our off grid home is in Canada's subarctic. So during the winter months, our four-hours-a-day of sunlight isn't quite enough. We need help to power our solar panels and run our household. So we've learned about diesel generators, gasoline generators, charge controllers, inverters, and batteries - and we write about it too!
