bacon

crushed garlic

light brown sugar

maple syrup
¼

bourbon

apple cider vinegar

teaspoons
mustard
Instructions
Cut bacon into small pieces using kitchen scissors.
Place bacon in a medium-sized saucepan over medium-high heat.
Stir occasionally until it is cooked thoroughly but not overcooked.
Remove bacon from the pan and drain on a plate lined with paper towels.
Drain all but a couple of teaspoons of bacon fat and then add in all remaining ingredients.
Simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mixture thickens the consistency of jam.
Remove from heat and stir in cooked bacon.
Allow to cool and transfer into an 8 oz. jar or two 4 oz. mason jars.
Wipe off the rim of your jar and replace the lid.
Notes
This maple bacon bourbon jam stores well for about four weeks in the fridge.
