Autumn is hands-down my favorite season. After all, we all love our long winter nights by the cozy wood stove. Usually curled up with a good homestead book, a cup of tea, or knitting needles.
The sad thing is that fall only lasts about two weeks around here. We get winter from about the middle of September through the end of April.
I still like to decorate for fall but don't want to spend much money. (I don’t decorate for Christmas until December 1.)
That's why I created this list of 15 rustic fall decor ideas.
From pumpkins to fall signs, you'll find various creative, frugal decorating ideas to suit all skill levels and budgets.
All of these DIY ideas are super easy to make, no matter what kind of crafter you are or what kind of DIY fall craft you want to make.

I just love this time of year (it's my favorite time of year too) and the rustic look, and all these ideas are just gorgeous! I am spending some time this weekend sprucing up my house for fall and am definitely going to try painting some mason jars in those lovely fall colors. The pinecone wreath is just epic too. I live in a forest so am going to forage for some cones and have a go at making my own. Thanks for the inspiration!
